Treating cardiovascular disease with sunlight

According to a new study published in the International Congress of Dermatology in 2013 in Edinburgh (Scotland), ultraviolet (UV) in sunlight is beneficial for cardiovascular health.


Researchers from the United Kingdom for 24 study participants exposed to UV rays and they found that the amount of nitric oxide ( a substance that helps lower blood pressure , prevent heart disease ) contribute to reducing rising blood pressure body . This does not happen when the UV rays are blocked .
Dr. Marguerite Germain , a specialist in dermatology , said: " Nitric oxide can help reduce blood pressure , leading to reduced risk of heart disease and myocardial infarction . However, this study only the effects within 50 minutes . We have conducted further research to conclude whether exposure to UV rays can reduce the risk of many heart for a long time or not . "
On the other hand , Dr. Germain also noted that currently there is a 1 in 5 people with skin cancer , so she recommends that people should not give up the use of sunscreen before the official measures published . Besides , you should always exercise regularly to help lower blood pressure , help the body become stronger and live longer .
